Edwardian tape measure shaped like a garden roller. 40”/100cm.
Detailed novelty metal tape measure with deep blue fabric tape holder and stand. The tape is accessed by pulling a threaded metal end piece and a small hand crank on the side winds the tape back in to it’s housing. The tape is double sided with inches and centimetres, maximum length is 40” / 100cm. 
In true vintage condition. The blue fabric is discoloured and there is lots of wear to the chrome plating.
A patent number is stamped on the side and reads No.542489.
